Michael J. Carreira

Michael is an experienced civil litigator who has tried at least twenty five cases before the Connecticut State Courts in the areas of personal injury defense litigation. He represents litigants on a wide variety of actions involving personal injury. His practice focuses on professional malpractice and complex litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael was a seasoned member of a premier group of complex injury litigators in a local staff counsel office belonging to a Fortune 100 insurance company. Having practiced in such a setting, Michael has developed the skills and experience to represent clients from the initial meeting, through the deposition and discovery process, through mediation, arbitration, and/or civil trial. Additionally, Michael can utilize his past appeals experience to represent clients in that area as well if necessary.

Michael received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut in 2011. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 2008.
